Michael Braswell began his performing career when he was only eight years old. His first experiences on stage were with a traveling circus act where he was featured as a juggler and a magician. Soon, he picked up stunts, escape artistry, and fire manipulation along with many other variety performance feats. Combining these skills, Michael Braswell began shaping his performances into a one-person variety act.
At the age of 10, Michael Braswell began performing his own solo acts at various festivals, fairs, and other public events as well as private and corporate functions. He was also performing in “Clowns In Action,” a traveling variety show which toured multiple schools and festivals in the Mid West in the early 1990’s. A couple years later, when Michael Braswell was 12, he had the exciting opportunity to travel to Las Vegas, NV where he juggled at the Country Star as well as in “Star Mania” at Whiskey Pete’s Hotel and Casino.
In his early teen-age years, Michael Braswell began performing as a musician in multiple bands as a guitarist and drummer. His love of music has crossed over into his juggling and magic performances as he uses intricate melodies and mixed tempos in his shows to create remarkable and memorable moments. Many of his routines feature the use of musical instruments to add more variety to his performances.
Michael Braswell has continued pursuing his passion for the variety arts for over 20 years, evolving his act into a high-energy, unique, and exciting experience that can be enjoyed by everyone. By featuring multiple performance skills from the variety arts in his shows, Michael Braswell has created a truly original variety act guaranteed to entertain any audience.
In 2010, Michael Braswell lived and performed in Branson, MO where he was a part of “The Magic and Comedy of Taylor Reed,” one of Branson’s top grand illusion shows. During this time he helped manage the show while serving as both a creative consultant and as a guest emcee. He also performed at numerous locations around Branson including Thousand Hills Golf Resort and as a street magician on the Branson Landing.
Currently, Michael Braswell is working as a freelance magician, juggler, and fire manipulator who offers a variety of performance options to fit any occasion. He also provides entertainment as a balloon animal artist and as a stilt-walker. He travels with his wife, Satina, who performs as a hooper, dancer, and fire manipulator.
Satina loves sharing the joy of performance through hoop dance and more! With a history in dance and theater she has become a natural at captivating crowds and creating visually stunning routines.
In early 2009, Satina bought her first professional hula-hoop and she has since immersed herself in hoop dance. By 2010, she was performing with her whirling hula-hoops for audiences everywhere. In addition to dazzling performances, Satina face paints and teaches hoop dance to adult and kids alike.
